Protest: Don't send London Taxi and Private Hire to Coventry

Transport for London intend to privatise their London Taxi and Private Hire Department, sending many staff to work in Coventry or Northampton in the process.

Staff cuts that are planned as part of the process will mean fewer cab driver inspections which will undermine the Safer Travel at Night Scheme and expose more passengers - and especially women - to greater risk from unlicensed cab drivers.

Bombardier Support Group Protest at Derby Conference Centre

The Bombardier Support Group, representative of a diverse range of community groups including Together for Transport, will be holding a peaceful protest outside the Derbyshire and Derby Rail Conference, scheduled to be held at the Derby Conference Centre, to show support for both Bombardier workers and for a future for the train-building industry in Derby.Why not join us and show your support?

Save our Railways: Rally and Lobby of Parliament

Called by the Rail Unions, ASLEF, RMT, TSSA, the McNulty Report recommends widespread change of Britain’s railways and the ConDem government is due to announce which parts they will adopt at the end of November.

The TUC Congress in September unanimously voted to support the campaign to stop the decimation of Britain’s railways which McNulty proposes.
